AJ Elliott wanted to travel the world since she was 12. But since international travel was out of reach for a preteen’s income, she wrote her adventures instead.
In college, she obtained an international relations degree and finally embarked on journeys of her own, living in places such as China, South Korea, and Kazakhstan, and traveling throughout the former Soviet Union.
No one can explore the world without discovering its dark spots, and AJ began to study the spiritual side of human affairs—what drives the light, and what drives the darkness. Now she writes stories about those destinations which are still out of reach—other worlds—and about the light and darkness in our own world.
She lives in West Virginia with her husband, their super-powered toddler, and a geriatric cat who still thinks she runs the household.
Some of her favorite authors are: C.S. Lewis, Ray Bradbury, Lois
Lowry, H.G. Wells, Malcolm Gladwell, J.R.R. Tolkien, Madeleine
L'Engle, Dr. Caroline Leaf, Ellen McGinty, Ashlyn McKayla Ohm, and
S.D. Smith.
